Kim’s Groom Room was established in November 2022. Before setting up my own dog grooming business I started working in a salon, bathing and drying dogs a few days a week. I went on to do my Level 2 City & Guilds at Writtle College and University. I instantly fell in love with being around dogs and being able to pamper them. I have always grown up with dogs and had a love for them but working with them every day, I just knew it was what I wanted.

Once I had completed my Level 2 at Writtle College, I went on to my Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming. It was then I set up my own business from home. At the beginning in November 2022 all I started with was a small dog grooming table and some scissors. I offered a bath and tidy for local clients dogs and then once I had made enough money, I went on to buy myself clippers and began offering full grooms.

After some time working from a small area inside my home, my client list was building and becoming more popular and I was lucky enough to invest in my own home salon. We have now expanded even further, we have another dog groomer on board and have moved to a unit in Parsonage Farm, Henham. I am so grateful every day to my clients who put their trust in me with their fur babies.

We pride ourselves on giving the best care and always putting the dogs needs first. We always keep up to date with Dog First Aid and love and care for every dog that comes into the salon.
